Middleground - Youth Symposium

Our vision as the TYP.G team is to bring youth together to improve connections and communities and achieve our common goals.

Following the theme that TYP.G creates each year to shape events around, the 2024 theme for TYP.G is ‘Middleground’. The theme was chosen as detailed in point form below:

There will be three concepts addressed at this event. These are namely:

• Facilitate open dialogue to deepen appreciation for diverse perspectives and encourage individuals to empathise with others' experiences and challenges.

• Create a welcoming environment where every voice is valued.

• For everyone to understand that, despite our differences in race, gender, or background, we are all human and equally important. It's about recognising and appreciating the value in each person, and realising that together, we can find the middle ground and strive for better.
